Confirmed date for reunion!

Dear Brothers, Sisters, Parents, Children, Cute granddaughters, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins Distant and Close,

We have a confirmed date as of today (9/8/08) for the 2nd Nicola Reunion at Rio Lindo Academy!

We have the entire facility reserved from Thursday, June 25 to Monday, June 28.

The plan being to come in on Thurday afternoon in time to get settled and have dinner together Thursday night. Activities happening through Sunday night and then having breakfast and leaving Monday morning.

The purpose of this e-mail is to simply inform you of the dates.

Please talk this up among your circle of relatives so in case someone does not get this they will still know. If you aren't sure they are on our list please do 2 things:

1. Forward this on to them.
2. E-mail their e-mail address to Mike Brown: mike.b.brown@sbcglobal.net

We are planning on communicating 99% of the time via e-mail.

I know that many of you are already planning on being there and we are excited at seeing you all again. This reunion stands to be the best yet. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to write, e-mail, or call.

I also want to take this space to say a huge thank-you to Mike Brown for taking the time and interest to create and manage this "Reunion Blog." His willingness and expertise are both greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike!

Rumors of reunion death greatly exaggerated!

Hi All,

With today being the 4th of July it made me think of our family reunion 9 years ago! You know, we really had a good time then didn't we? (Wasp stings and sunken canoes not withstanding!) Karen and I are really looking forward to getting together with all of you about this time next year. (We are still finalizing with the scheduling with Rio Lindo Academy). This e-mail is to dispel any nasty, untrue and blatantly false rumors that might be going around that because we (Steve and Karen) have moved there will be no reunion next summer.

There will be, barring any cataclysmic disasters not of our making or choosing! (Denny, your soccer team making it to the World Cup Finals will not count as a reason not to attend) So keep the end of June, first of July 2009 clear.

We will let you know ASAP when we have a confirmed date. If you didn't get our "moving e-mail" here is our new address and phone #'s once again.
